Our Workscope
We take on different types of projects from lighting, ceiling fan to branding, and we have a team of designers that come from different backgrounds and disciplines. We have a hands-on approach to all the projects, and by doing so to create an emphasis on experimentation and innovation and an exploratory attitude to materiality and colour.
Our Mission
Studio Kubrick is a multidisciplinary design studio focused on creating a holistic approach to design. We value the ethos of each of our clientele, and we constantly innovate ideas by challenging the boundaries of design. Founded in 2019 by Chia Hao Scott Lee and a team of designers in Taiwan, Studio Kubrick was established as a platform for exploring design across scales—spanning products, interior design, and the intersection of industrial production with artisanal techniques. Scott holds a degree in Interior Design from the Royal College of Art in London.
Before establishing Studio Kubrick, he worked with world-renowned design practices, including Yabu Pushelberg in Toronto and Universal Design Studio in London, shaping his approach to craftsmanship, materiality, and spatial experience.
The studio’s work bridges design as both an artistic expression and a refined manufacturing process. Rooted in the values of its clients and inspired by the simplicity of everyday life.
