The project starts with a small urban dwell concept for the tropical Southeast Asia markets, as the compact cooling fan will be needed all year round. Flyvingen is inspired by the propeller aeroplane design, where the simplicity of the blade became the focal point. The blade materials are sourced from the high-altitude Northen China’s Cypress forest, close to the border of Siberia. The curved blade design adds a dynamic look, where it reconnects with nature.
