Uncomplicated design elements with the precision manufacture process

As we want the motor housing case to be with minimal height without obstructing the overall language, the inner DC motor component needs to redesign to fit with the aluminium housing case. Each part of the Arch uses a different manufacturing process to accomplish the design, from aluminium die-casting, the CNC production of the blade to its final hand-painted finishes. It's the project fuse between modern mass production mechanics with traditional craftsmanship.

GESTURE WITH REFINED DETAILS

Based on our analysis, we found that the designer and architect favours using the minimal and straightforward fan with a small fan body and without lights. We have created an Arch fan focus on two statements, both motor housing and blade design. The motor case is designed to mimic the industrial motors' looks with two refined flanges. The uncomplicated and lightness of blade design works well with the motor housing. This modern and universal fan design is at the service of architecture and space with its subtle and smart style.

The Arch project is to create a fan design that compliments the simplicity of the interior architecture space.

The design of this fan comes with its own sets of challenges, where we aim to reduce the height of the housing. As a result, we have to work with manufacturers to redesign the component of the current DC motors.
